About the project
Built by Arominx for practical project estimates
ImperialCalcs is a free set of US construction calculators created by Arominx LLC, a software development company building web, mobile, and AI products.
What the tools do
The calculators turn measurements in feet and inches into material quantities for common home improvement work. Choose a tool for concrete, gravel, landscaping, wall framing, drywall, or roofing, enter project dimensions, and review the resulting quantities.
Depending on the project, results can include cubic yards, US short tons, packaged material counts, framing components, roof squares, or other takeoff quantities. Contractor Mode can also produce an itemized material and labor estimate using prices and labor rates entered by the visitor.
How estimates are prepared
Each calculator uses published formulas and stated assumptions such as material density, package yield, panel size, waste allowance, or product coverage. Project pages show example dimensions and technical guidance to help explain the takeoff. For roofing and construction assemblies, the appropriate design and installation details depend on the actual plans, materials, and local requirements.
These tools are for planning and estimating. Review the assumptions, confirm measurements in the field, and check quantities, product coverage, and project requirements with your plans and supplier before ordering.
Made by a software development team
